Welcome to my blog/portfolio! I  am 22 years old, a senior at Missouri State University studying in Public Relations and Journalism. I received my Associates degree from Missouri State-West Plains in 2015. In my time there I spent two years as a student assistant for the basketball team and am grateful for that experience as it gave me a insider’s look  of how programs may be ran at a high level.

Entering my second year at Missouri State, I have had my hand in a few cookie jars. In 2015-16, I spent time as a sports information student intern helping out the Athletic Communications department with various sports, such as soccer, football, volleyball, and basketball. I also was able to be a part of the inaugural year for the Valley on ESPN3 initiative, which stems from a contract between the Missouri Valley Conference and ESPN to allow ESPN to stream their games. I have worked as a camera operator for both volleyball and basketball. Other experience includes spending a summer as a pitch clock operator for the St. Louis Cardinals AA affiliate, Springfield Cardinals.

The purpose of this blog is to give me an outlet to write to. I write for two other sites, you can find my work on the other pages here.
